Congratulations to students Humayun and Fiona, from Westminster Kingsway College, who took part in this years Salon Culinaire Competition in Birmingham, the UK’s largest and most prestigious chef competition showcasing the amazing skills and talent within the industry.
They won silver and bronze, respectively, in the best kids meal catergory of the Gary Hunter Dolmio student challenge 2019 using novofarina gluten free ingredients.
Gary Hunter said of them both "Excellent work chefs, with a real leading alternative ingredient that’s gluten free. Imaginative, creative and very flexible product produces these exceptional results in the skilled hands of our students."
