A Passion to Inspire competition

We were thrilled to be involved in this years’ A Passion to Inspire competition.

Hosted by City College Norwich on 21st March 2023, Novo Farina were invited to supply our locally sourced and manufactured ingredients for the young chef teams to use in their winning recipes. The students and their mentors selected our Split Yellow Pea Flour to work with in the final.

Initially developed to create stronger links between education and industry, A Passion to Inspire is a charity that works with colleges, farms and top chefs to inspire, encourage and support students in their chosen careers.

Founded by Murray Chapman in 2009, the non-profit-making initiative now works with over 172 colleges and is actively supported by an incredible list of top chefs who tutor the students.

With the involvement of people from the entire industry, from farm to front of house, A Passion to Inspire helps and supports the future of tomorrow today.

Congratulations to all the winners of the various categories, including the overall winning team from Colchester Institute.

Congratulations to a Great Team - Sophia Bearman, Stephanie Etherington and Jess Hornsby who will be at Skills for Chefs with Culinary Hero Marco Pierre White and their Russums Jackets and Chefi Knife cases – and then off on a very special culinary journey with Steve Hobbs to Lyon with Grande Cuisine Academy
